Completed this week
I did meet with an instructor this past week to see if they would be interested in the study. While there was interest, they suggested another instructor and provided me with resources for content in my study. I did email the other instructor, but we are now on spring break. I did update the proposal a bit, but the summary still needs to be updated.

To do this week
Finish writing the common themes. Review the comments and make changes or comments as necessary.

Completed this week
I finished reading all the articles, but one this week. One of the articles I selected cannot be ordered from the library, so I need to remove this article from my study.

I selected several articles that I will use as the base of my study in my literature review.

I am strongly considering having the students use Facebook and Twitter to collaborate and to create knowledge together about Spanish culture, specific to music and dance. I will add the information to my website as a knowledge base on this topic. I will provide the majority of the information and I will create videos in TouTube. In the end, I hope to have articles and videos as resources for students on these topics. A quiz will still be given at the beginning and at the end of the study, but the content of the quiz will only be the material that I created. I contacted one instructor about meeting this month. I will provide tips on electronic communication.

Completed last week
I started the literature review this week. I did create a list for common themes, although I do foresee possibly adding more common themes that I found in the articles.

I scheduled a meeting with another instructor to see if they would be interested in my topics as a thesis.

In another course that I am taking, I have to modify a card game called FLUXX and I am looking at doing a Spanish culture version of the game. For this reason, I started pulling articles for content for my study. I did note that music and dance is a large enough topic to cover for my topic of the content I will be posting in social media. I am looking into whether or not I can use the game I am modifying for my study as well. It might not be applicable, so it is just a possibility for right now.

To do this week
I need to add references from articles and start writing about the commone themes. I will be meeting with another instructor this week to discuss whether or not they would be interested in my topic as a thesis. I need to look for more ideas on Spanish culture topics related to music and dance.

Completed this week
I read several articles and posted my thoughts and comments on them in the article review document on Google Docs. I also reviewed the comments in both the project proposal and the article notes documents and added my comment responses there, except for two comments. I need to review the articles again to respond to those two comments.
To do this week
I need to finish reading the remaining articles and select 3-5 articles to be the main focus for the literature review. I can also complete a reference list for the literature review. Ideally I will start writing the literature review too.
