Working on projects together means that we have to communicate in some fashion and emails and paper does accomplish this, but it can leave individuals in the project wondering if they read the latest on the project, missed an email or misplaced a memo. SharePoint enables users to see the project and all of the communication about the project in one location, while also receiving status updates in a more traditional format via email for those that are interested. In this project, our helpdesk workers went from turning in checkouts in paper and via email to just using SharePoint Tasks/Projects.
